It feels a little like the Groundhog Day movie in our house. We are going on our 3rd day of school being canceled. Even a little bit of ice or snow on the roads and they don't have school. It is getting a little crazy. We have been out and about safely since Monday on roads that are completely clear except in neighborhoods and tiny side roads.
We did get to go see our local groundhog this morning though. Woody saw his shadow, but that is because he was inside an auditorium basking in the glow of TV cameras. Being indoors was a good thing though because I forgot Luke's coat. It is February, pouring rain on top of snow and I let my child out of the house with no coat. Hmmm...Mother of the Year here I come.
